Summer Rains Poem by Mustafa Marconi

Summer Rains

Little baby creeps and crawls
She sees the light upon the wall
Un-awed by gravity and it’s basic laws
Little baby unmercifully falls
Her ignorance will not lessen the summer rains
Nor ease the hurt of family’s pain
A life so young, it’s always a shame
But her loss shall not hinder the rumbling trains

Grown men living in adverse conditions
Gave their souls to the wrong religions
Spent half their live in indecision
Now struggle to find the basic provisions
Their ignorance will not lessen the summer rains
Nor diminish the hurt of their daily pains
So many homeless, it’s always a shame
But their suffering will not hinder the rumbling trains

Little baby creeps and crawls
Little baby unmercifully falls
A life so young, it’s always a shame
But her lost will not lessen the summer rains
