Summer In Chritmass

Make me believe-
Love does exist
May buds spring's telepathic hope
April eyes focus the telescope

Make me believe
You love me: let me be
The Butterfly spreading each wing
Heartbeats of tender spring

Make me believe
In belief itself
What a relief
To free the fig leaf

Make me believe
Love answered letters
Embrace my message
My dreams presage

Make me believe
In belief itself
What a relief
To shed the golden leaf

Make me believe
In New Years Eve
A Kiss from your lips
Happy New Year scripts

Make me believe
In champagne and caviar
Uncork happiness
Summer in Christmas

Make me believe
I am that fine wine
The first taste makes you utterly wander
Conquer me with one possessive encore

Make me believe
I can find one last verse
To free the universe
You're my one true verse!

poet Percy Bysshe Shelley

We are as clouds that veil the midnight moon;
How restlessly they speed, and gleam, and quiver,
Streaking the darkness radiantly!--yet soon
