Summer Feelings Poem by Esperansa Rangel

Summer Feelings

The feelings you wished for when winter came
Of freedom is now besides you
of a butterfly flying in the warm air
of smelling the rose's
of enjoying the fun about being young but knowing we're growing up every second
of knowing you would find sweet summer love
of seeing your friends everyday
of helping yourself and other's
of staying in your house all day long
of dancing all night long, with your prince charming around the lake
of going out to the beach with your friends and feel the sand between your toe's
of the sun shining upon your face
of running freely through the woods
of laughing at jokes that aren't even funny
But these feelings need to wait for the winter is upon us now, but these feelings will come sooner than we will all know.
