The summer breeze brings back the memories
Of countless summers past
But the glittering seas and foamy tides
They are the only things that last
The sands can’t hold the secrets for too long
It bears the weight of countless souls
Whose revelations fall like rain,
And drench the sympathetic shores
The shores will summon all the waves
Each to take an ounce of tears
To lighten up the deepening heaves
That others may unload their share
Of burden out into the sky
And let it pour right down like rain
For you the waves will break and sigh
While the sand and pebbles share the pain
