Summer Ashes Poem by Pearl Walden

Summer Ashes

Scatter me on a fine summer's day
When honeysuckle blooms over pergolas
Shady and bumblebees buzz around
Lavender borders. For I want to blow
Through the sun scented air, mingling
With dust motes and pollen on the wind.
