Summer Poem by Lee Allen Roberts

Summer

Rating: 3.3

The summer sky lit by the the sun
the flowers blowin in the wind
it dosn't bother anyone if nature hath sinned
the grass is long the air most sweet
in the pasture green
this is where my lover and i shall meet
and this is where i've been
sat together eat flowers together
read poems, laughed and cried
none shall ever know wether
thats where we shall byed
resting our heads on each others laps
here we shall each other and smile
here we shall take a nap and dream upon a while
and when its dark and time for home
we will not grumble nor shall groan
for we shall see each other tomorow

Hello Lee. I believe I reviewed this one already, but the comments were deleted. I enjoyed the flow and the imagery, well done. Loyd
