Summer Poem by Leaking Pen

Summer

Rating: 5.0

You'll be the death of me
From you I will never be free
I deplore your seductive features
God's nature or the Devil's adventures
The one cinematic capturing veil
Under your supervision I sail
The sea of beauty propels every male
Immortalize the ones who pave your trail
Nephertiti, Cleopatra and Helen of Troy
Ancient history famous alluring ploy
Warm up acts to your immeasurable beauty
Antiquity's first recorded celebrity
****
How can I absorb the full impact of summer charms?
Winged Victory of Samothrace missing arms
Get my fill from the vines of seduction
Quench my thirst from the residue of reduction
Every femme fatale torn hearts apart
Uncapping the wells of lustful art
****
In one lifetime you let me fly to the moon
And alter Sinatra's immortal tune
'Let me play among the stars
See what SUMMER is like on a Jupiter or Mars'
Who frames the boulevard of art?
Feminine mystique the stars heart
Katharine, Ingrid, Ava, and Rita,
The soul of Italy the one and only Sophia!
Marilyn and Brigitte keep knocking at my lust door
Stumble and explode I'm Chernobyl's nuclear core
Gina, Claudia and my goodness that Michelle!
My heart racing to the beats of William Tell
Sugar caramelizing torches: Anita, Kim and Raquel
The one million B.C. poster all men dwell
Catherine Deneuve -Belle de Jour-
The sugar essence in my petite four
Audrey breakfast at Tiffany's
The fairest lady of all ladies
A special tribute to Elizabeth and Vivian
Who Tackles the Woolf! Vivian to humility oblivion
Ursula bursts out from the sea of mystery
A moment frozen in Bond's history
****
Boys to men augmented spells
How to face the impact of your full force
Each cycle when you appear my heart swells
Derails the nature of my pious course
I drown in lust's bottomless wells
All secret desires exposed by your flame
Essence of manhood's fantasy claim
****
I purposely hide in a darkened nook
A monk praying away your treasures
I am afraid if I have a closer look
Undressing the winters of my measures
I'll be the fish caught on your hook
Lay dead from the floods of your pleasures
Summer days your beauty shall not fade
In eternity Shakespeare memory laid
****
