Summer Poem by Jess Terry

Summer

Rating: 3.5

Summer is where,
i wanna be,
beaches and sunshine,
bikinis and beachballs,
summers the only place to be,
screw the skinny jeans,
i want short shorts,
dancing in midsummer rainstorms,
in bright yellow raincoats,
stuff the indoors,
i want to run around,
act like an idiot,
play music and scream,
no to jackets and tights,
yes to singlets and barefeet,
summer,
the only place for me
