Sukiyo Poem by Louise Marie DelSanto

Sukiyo

Rating: 4.5

What is this love that dwells inside?
An angry sea, the peaceful tide
A journey close, a distance far
The Summer moon, one twinkling star
A lover's kiss, my captured heart
A cherished love we dare not part
A strong desire, my breathless soul
Words in a journal, no secrets told
Sukiyo, my dearest, the words not rare
Within my heart, you are always there.

*in Japanese this means I love you.
