Sugar, Spice And Everything Nice Poem by Nvisible 2Luv

Sugar, Spice And Everything Nice

Rating: 5.0

Daddies are supposed to love their little girls.
So why could you never love me?
Sugar & spice illuminate their worlds,
But my sparkle you could not see.

It's not because I didn't shimmer.
I'm told I could outshine the sun.
But my light never shone in your eyes.
You never saw me as a special one.

I wish we could take back all the distance.
And you could know the magnitude of my heart.
I wish I could admire a protector and friend.
I wish life could give us both a new start.

Maybe I'm doomed to forever seek out
The love you never seemed able to give.
Someone to know and cherish me for me.
But first I must somehow forgive.

Forgive your apathy for home life.
Forget your frustration with your plight.
Overlook that you overlooked such a sweet little girl
Who wanted only to be your shining light
