Suffering In Silent Fear Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Suffering In Silent Fear

Memories coming quietly and timidly into mind,
shying away from the limelight of poetical
visions so insistently shining within.

Always wanting to be seen in awakened dreams,
yet afraid of being expressed in terms of
endearment or love because of all the hurt
they've been through in life.

Suffering in a silence of putrefied fear,
hiding from everything, just to protect them-
selves from other's opinions and ridicule in
their solitary little lives.
