Suffering

On the little blue waves
Aimlessly floats a boat
All around is only water
No knowledge of the shore
In the cage of ribs
Lives a little bird
Writhes in agony
No sight of the door
Fear of unknown
Hovers in the wind
Nowhere is light
No relief from the pain.
