Suffer The Little Children Poem by Gideon Arthur

Suffer The Little Children

On his arms and laps we sat
he made us not to depart
He kept us whole in his heart
Like a book that can be read
To they that rebuked He said

REFRAIN
Suffer the little Children
Suffer the little children
Bid them all to come to me
Learn from them to be like me

On shoulders he carried us
With strength speaking to the mass
God's Kingdom belong to us
And our life its message spread
To they that rebuked He said

We held his arms, legs and cloth
Leave me alone he said not
On us blessings of all sort
He heartily breathed and showered
To they that rebuked He said
