Such Intoxication Is Often Times A Onesided Affair

Rating: 5.0

I should like to love in utter abandonment,
having neither my sanity nor my sincerity questioned,
and it would not mean diabolical entrapment,
a millstone around my lover’s neck, obsession personified.

While I admit not having eyes for anyone other than you,
and having never before engaged in such a passionate endeavor,
I do not anticipate ever feeling this way again with anyone new.
Before we met, I had never known such loveliness or desired to savor
each moment I spent with another person.

Still, do plan to come and go as you please,
for while I hope for reciprocation of affection,
I know such intoxication
is often times a one sided affair!
