Subtly & Silently I Surrender Poem by Marcus McKinley

Subtly & Silently I Surrender

Volumes unspoken
Penetrating
my heart,
my mind,
my soul
Pupils in dilation
Awakened
Opening,
Your beauty
I behold

Secrets, untold
Secrets, unfold
Through the iris'
Of your looking glass
Unsurpassed,
Turning worlds
upside down
In prismatic gel
Chambered
In suspense

Hidden portals
Cryptically,
Poetically,
Subconsciously
Deciphering this enigma
Shrouded,
In riddle and mystery
Beguiling,
My mental imagery
Am I to believe?
What my eye perceives
Falling bare
Like autumn leaves
Under a blanket of love
