Subjagate My Love Poem by Barbara Vanier

Subjagate My Love

sitting and waiting anticipating a message from you
my soul is warning of desolate sands blown by the wind that is you
crying my eyes fill with tears for all of the years gone away
sheltering lust left with untrust and now in this well I decay

subdued by you
loved by you
trusted you
but now you subjugate my love

running this madness is putting the past in its place
only to hold you but now just to scold you this day
your sierns screaming has got me leaning off the edge of the world
today I fall tomorrow I call someone bind my hands from this world

subdued by you
loved by you
trusted you
but now you subjugate my love
