Stubborn Love Poem by william savage

Stubborn Love

Stubborn Love

Steel blue eyes that search your heart,
moistened by tears whenever we part.

Honey blonde hair frames a Romanic gaze,
tenacious willpower strengthens her ways.

Woe betide an aggressor whatever their kin,
no matter how righteous - they just cannot win.

Near four score years may weaken physique,
stronger in courage, disenchantingly meek.

She stands her ground, never gives a metre,
I love her so much - who else, but my Rita?

I enjoyed reading your poem. Congratulation in doing your prep and I hope your celebrations go well. Back to your poem, I'd certainly say you've a girl in a million, one who will back you up.Stay young at heart. Us 200 year old ought to know. Kidding. You know more than we do. Best wishe..
