Stronger Today Poem by Susan Lacovara

Stronger Today

He, one, so softy wakes
Within the calm and nestled embrace
Of green hills
And a stronger will
Than yesterday

She, too, alive and merry
A bench beneath the tall Black Cherry
Finds gathered time
A clearer mind
Than yesterday
