You have gone away
Taking your love away
Even though we meant
A lot to each other

You never really wanted love
You only wanted to see me cry
Wanting me to cry you a river
But you’ll never get it out of me

For I am a strong person
I won’t let pain control my life
As I have done before
Life is never the way it seems

So if you want me cry
I am sorry to disappoint you
But I wont cry for you
So please just leave me be

If that is all you want from me
Then you are out of luck
I can love with all my heart
But again love is not what you want

It’s what I make of it
You never wanted love
You wanted power
I am sorry but no man will rule over me
