Stripped Poem by Nina gáspari

Stripped

Stripped of all fears
There´s no point in wearing a mask..here
Stripped of past insecurities
You have taught me to believe
Stripped of old dreams
Life doesn´t offer many guarantees
Stripped of hurtful lies
The storm´s over, and I can see my way to love´s delight
Stripped of everything that felt too heavy for me
To carry on my wise, fragile shoulders
Stripped of all the nasty baggage
I have made joy and peace my lovely carriage
Stripped of all my clothes
Baring my skin…
My heart and all the good and all the bad
All that´s within..
