Strelitzia Poem by Aven Black

Strelitzia

Rating: 5.0

Thus begins the new life
Shed the old
Like the tattered soles
Of tattered shoes
That walk no more
Abdicate the roles
Of the little fools
Who ruled before
Those who brought your tears
And softly chased your fears
As you saw them rule your younger years
They shan't rule you anymore.
