Street Life Poem by Timothy Branch

Street Life

Street life. How many lives have the street claimed? How many people did you just name? How many found life after leaving that street life? Forgotten aren't those who the streets got. Thanks go way beyond sky and clouds heights to one who speaks loudest softly. Gratitude due wider than latitude is away from longitude must be extended to he who prevented that life to consume yet even me. I have to repeat again that I am grateful for heeding the one thunderous voice because I know that men and even I did tend to shun things the unseen and most notably the all powerful king. Street life caused so many of us to start believing. Pray for those that street life still has strung out. Please I beg of you do so promptly for those who the streets so easily tempt, lure, and deceive continually. There ain't no life therein. If life was found in the streets, tape and white sheets would not line the streets that designate the presence of another fallen man. Street and life do not go hand in hand.
