Street Children Poem by Sarah Sami

Street Children

Once Upon a time there was a little girl..
Whose mum was brushing her silky hair..
While she was playing with her doll with all her love and care...
Then she slept on her cozy bed huging her teddy bear..
And one day her parents said to her let's play hide and seek..
And when she opend her sparkled eyes she didn't find them in the street..
She searched everywhere..
But she didn't find the faces that had always do care..
She shouted and screamed 'where are you? ! '
Is that's like Tom and Jerry! But what can I do? !
And night came, and she still waiting for her parents to arose..
And prevented her tears from running down her cheeks and kept saying to herself calm down and repose...
But the winter storm was stronger than her that laid her down like a leaf which is dried..
And her eyes were shining of her desperate cries...
She curled up cold at night..
Watching others smiling and others fight...
Morning came...
And the sun shone the sky ad it always do the same...
But it darkened the little girl's heart..
Whose legs were shaking and was frighting from the huge houses and cars..
Abd she became hungry and asked for a penny..
Or any sandwich, , she didn't ask for many..
Her clothes were rug..
And her body became weak like a pug...
And when she passed beside a clothes store..
Seeing the mannequin wearing spore..
She stared in front of it with tire clothes that she wore..
And wondering 'Do you deserve more than me, or such a little more! ! ! ..,
And I have Real body and a Real Soul! ! ! ! !
