Strange Thirst, Strange Waters Poem by Mugano S. Paul

Strange Thirst, Strange Waters

in this thirst
i crave
for an uncommon Water

i thirst
not to quench this thirst
with any waters
but the Waters of life

i thirst
for the strange Waters
which one takes
and thirsts no more

i thirst
for these strange Waters
nothing else
nothing more.

“In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, if any man thirst, let him come unto me and drink”. John 7: 37.
