Strands The Bind Poem by Carolyn Breeze

Strands The Bind

Rating: 5.0

We are all held together by strands
Strands are the relationships we create
You can have a lot of strands, but if they are too weak they break. It's the strong strands that form lasting bonds
So gather as many strong strands as you can
Let go of the weak ones
When you need them they aren't strong enough to hold you
The good bonds or strands may get some wear and tear
Sometimes unravel a bit, but if they are strong they will hold you For there will be times when you need extra strength.
You my dear are one of my strands, and I am yours as well
If you ever need me remember I will be there
You my child are well loved and held closely and tightly
Learn now how to cut the strands that pull against you
You want to keep the strands that pull with you.
