Story Of A Cow Poem by Sina Farajzadeh

Story Of A Cow

Well, Once a Cow told me a story
You, eager to know? I'll tell, don't worry!
Behind the truck two cows were enjoying nature,
The rest were in stable and felt they're in torture,
The two were looking at people, mountains and rivers and felt free
The rest felt like prisoners and just were gazing at the hay and the leaves of an old tree
About those two, others were jealous,
Rather than others, the two were really timerous
After all, the day was going to be night
The two were killed in abattoir, and my story was right

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Well, I was travelling to Hamedan by bus. On the road I saw two cows taking their head out of a truck and looking at me! They were cute. Then this poem came into my mind. That's it all.

..........enjoyed this write and loved reading your poet's notes....I could picture the cow's looking at you from the truck.....and I wonder what they could have been thinking....wonder where they were going....hopefully to a new home....

I liked the narrative quality. Deep poem laced with a seemingly simple plot. I liked it. Good write. (:
