If you're interested in my story
I have more than a few tales
Maybe I'll tell you one day

On my way back I traveled to places you'll never see
But maybe you've already been
The stories live inside my head

Some of them I won't forget
There are a few that have escaped me
Others have yearned to linger

I've learned a thing or two about life
Each day made something new
The song was always different leaving the words the same

You sang a song for me
Of a familiar tale
That I've forgotten all about

If you're willing to listen
I have a few short stories
Maybe you'll read them some day
