Sting Of Death Poem by Angel A. Lockwood

Sting Of Death

I experienced the sting of death today
After receiving the word
That my cousin Mary
Went away
There was a long silence
With a gasp
Leaving no words to say
Later praying for the words to say
To all the grieving
Who love ones died
The same way
