she hides her eyes windows to the soul
still she smiles

she cries and cries behind closed doors
still she smiles

she hurts inside for the less lucky
still she smiles

shes experienced loss and death
still she smiles

she has been neglected hated and torn
still she smiles

she would give the shirt off her back
still she smiles

she looks mysterious and ominous
still she smiles

people talk behind her back and in her face
still she smiles

will you ever see that
she cries behind that smile?
