Still Not Late Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Still Not Late

Rating: 5.0

You are deep in impurity
So can not attain purity
You are human being
So believe life as circus ring

You have role of joker
Who cries but acts as smoker?
Life is under cloud
But he speaks loud

Parent too act as guardian
Whether Indian, European or African
Role is same to perform
When child is born

Religion is taught
All thoughts are fought
Some kind of belief is injected
Rest all is brushed aside and rejected

I find in early morning
When cuckoo is singing
In his glory with praises
I pray but with many doubts to raise

I fail to understand
Where do we stand?
In the name of religion
In all the regions

Can we not profess?
With one face
True picture of love and hate
As it is still not late
