Still I Love You Poem by Soumita Sarkar

Still I Love You

Rating: 4.3

I wait for a turn
I wait for a call
Call that came from you
A push that came from you
Yes, I still love you

We were together
Sharing our lives
Hugging the moments tight
How we laughed in trance
A halt from me or you
Yes, I still love you

Night was not lonely
With your fragrance around
Existence was a joy abound
All it makes me blue
Yes, I still love you

You let your love flowing
At another buddy of mine
I saw the same kiss thrown
And I again became moron
Your memories are now a glue
Yes, I still love you

All tell me you shall never return
Yet I see the open path green
I shall never get bridges burn
For true love never lean
Perhaps I not strong as you
Yes, you may forget me
Still, I will love you.

Yes, no, maybe - love goes away with time memories of that love don't.. That is the real problem.. We can't just let go of those memories that haunt us, particularly, when we do not want them to... Thanks for sharing Soumita.. A beautiful poem...
