Why oh why do I love you, is it the smile or the way you stare?
Is it that kiss or the how I know you always unconditionally care
One reason is cuz I know you’ll be true
And that’s why I chose you
When im around you I don’t have a care in the world.
I don’t care what people think of you
I love that you’re a nerd
I love that you will hold my hand and lay on my shoulder as if you are two.
Most of all I love how much I love you
It seems I don’t have to act for you to like me especially when you say whenever you talk you become more amazed
By looking at what I got sometimes I become so dazed
My life sucked till you entered it
Now it seems that I have someone to turn to when I have so many issues in my head
You’re the one I trust to tell, my deepest secrets too
I am so thankful that I am with you.

Hi Aurora - This is a lovely love poem and I am honoured to be the first to comment. It is an expression of the purity and uncomplicated nature of teenage love. I was 17 in 1950 and my experiences then mirror the sentiments in this poem. 'Why oh why do I love you? ' It is the summation of the smile - look - kissing - caring - choosing and feeling safe and secure together. 'I don't care what people think of you - I love that you are a nerd' - This is beautiful and a sure sign of True love. 'Most of all I love how much I love you'. Your love is reciprocal - ''I don't hve to act for you to like me'. He's amazed and you are dazed - AWESOME. The last three lines are perfect - this poem scores a TEN. 'Now it seems I have someone to turn to when I have so many issues in my head - You're the one I can trust to tell - my deepest secrets to - I am so thankful that I am with you'.
