Do you ever stop and think about
The chapters of folks’ lives?
They started from absolutely nothing
Took on a husband or wife

Bought a house and then planned
A family, one kid at a time
Careers went into the mix
It’s all so interesting, I find

Bought a car and chose a pet
Tried hard to make it all work
Responsibilities piling up
Mysteries would constantly lurk

Chapter after chapter of their lives
Ticked by till retirement came
Some responsibilities gone
No, life was never the same

Now spring is here once again
Sure, there are new kinds of strife
But folks will do as they always have
They are stepping up to life!
