Stealth Poem by Janine Alyssa Navarro

Stealth

A body so stagnant
writhes with unease,
her pulse beats faster
and mind does not cease.
Someone is watching
but she refuses to see,
she looks away and far
but did a shadow just flee?

Tremble does the wind
on quivering skin,
whispers in her ears
her heart wears thin.
With one brave turn
she looks around,
there was no one there
but her mind unsound.
