Please stay with me here tonight
we'll rent the place all throughout the spring
when summer comes I'll propose to you with a ring
we'll get married in autumn with a honeymoon in the fall
we'll cuddle up all through winter, and baby we'll have it all
then spring will be here again, we'll have come full circle
the seasons past but we'd be no longer single

let's celebrate the time not yet spent
today is the day I'd like to rent
tonight we love to our hearts' content.
