State Of Depression

State of Depression

the dream came to an end
so sudden, a reaction never came
and those deep wounds,
those self inflicted wounds,
doesn’t numb your fragile heart
you keep on fooling your self
thinking you have all the rights to escape
and you lie to your self
again and again
that death is the only option
when hope is just behind your back
the broken dream numbs your mind
making you feel that all is lost
and life is but a sorrowful existence

your dream came to an end
so sudden
and then another dream begins
but it will never be realized
killed before it consumes you again
‘coz the scars are hard to mask
but you wear them as jewelries
an escape to make you a king
a king of the fallen, the weak
the hopeless, the fools, and the defeated
it is a loser’s stupid escape
self mutilations keep you alive
but it doesn’t do that much
‘coz your insides start rotting away
not knowing what the hell’s going on
as you stare at your own eyes
seeing nothing but listless depression
a sad ending to a broken dream
time has left you behind
with no one to share your fears
chained tightly with your own veins
running towards no where
running away from the path
that leads to your own salvation
stuck on the time your dream came to an end
so you wait for your own sudden ending
…….
