Start Over Again Poem by Katheryn Foley

Start Over Again

I press stop we're at a dead end,
Thinking if I should hit play again,
Would I just be a fool,
To hit rewind and break all the rules.

It just might be better if we start over again,
Maybe just talking turns into more than friends,
This may be our last chance to find out,
So I'll steal you in the night without a sound.

I'm not sure, how to, figure this out,
But maybe baby, we could start all over again.

All I felt was we were waisting time,
All of a sudden I was out of my mind,
Just take a second breath and figure this out,
And then you remind me to stand up and shout,
Stand up and shout.

It just might be better if we start over again,
Maybe just talking turns into more than friends,
This may be our last chance to find out,
So I'll steal you in the night without a sound.

I'm not sure, how to, figure this out,
But maybe baby, we could start all over again.

I search for you as you pass by,
Hidden under your disguise,
I wonder if I should call you out,
Or let you just slip into the crowd,
Let you slip into the crowd,
Into the crowd.

Is it too late to take you back now?

It just might be better if we start over again,
Maybe just talking turns into more than friends,
This may be our last chance to find out,
So I'll steal you in the night without a sound.

I'm not sure, how to, figure this out,
But maybe baby, we could start all over again.
