As we sit in complete darkness
As we sit in complete silence
Side by side, and in love
With my arm around your waist
And your head on my shoulder
The flowers of the night shine, glow, and glimmer as they're getting older

Tonight
A night of all nights
You and I will see an amazing revelation
Tonight is when we'll see the many stars sprout wings

And in the night sky
We see, one by one, stars sprout wings
Somewhere, where the moonglow is
Someone peacefully sings

In the night sky
Stars sprout wings
And down on the grass
We share our feelings for one another
And hold each other close

Tonight
As stars sprout wings
We feel blessed
We feel in love
We feel possessed
