Star Of Jesus Thou Art



Venus is smiling
She's smiling at me!
A jewel so beguiling
As silver on the sea.
Oh, heavenly Venus
Star of Jesus thou art
Queen of the planets
Inspiration to Mozart.

Essence of wintertime
From ages gone by
Venus keep shining
In the dark lonely sky.
A symbol of romance,
The prophets are true
Lovers owe a fortune
To Cupid and you.
