Stand Your Ground

While I teached them
to hold their position
and to not give in
to practicalities of men
they think it is funny
well it isn't honey
if i once believed
she did it all for money
gave them a smile
as if she cared
and that she really shared
it only took a while
i know i've been deceived
twice more
so why am i to care for
humanity
every time i cry
for femininity
i truly also cry for me.

Farewell love and all thy laws forever;
Thy baited hooks shall tangle me no more.
