Stand Still Poem by Abby Bilan

Stand Still

Let me stand through rocks
And break those towering walls
Empower me and when darkness mocks
When this glorifying reign falls
Give me strength
To witness the unchanging soul

Reach out for those who are in need
For they will open their arms for you in the end
Make them feed
Let the kid feel your palms and lend
Your gold and gems
Make it through your hems

Grant me clarity to be Your catalyst
Your words, the Angel’s swords
Show me the way, enlighten the mists
And tighten my foot on land
For me to stand
To be your man
I will stay
Oh, Lord
