Stallion Stew (Hard To Chew) .... [horses; Ethnic Food; Very Short; Very Serious] Poem by Bri Edwards

Stallion Stew (Hard To Chew) .... [horses; Ethnic Food; Very Short; Very Serious]

My mom was Irish; she's now dead.
Stews she sometimes, to us kids, fed.
I knew not if they were Irish or Italian;
they had carrots, onions..., and stallion.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM

Nice one Bri. Fed stallion meat as a child? That would explain a thing or two. Ha ha

Hilarious, Bri! When you say 'Very Serious', are you saying that your mother really did put horse meat in the stew? My sister has a hilarious story about when she and her roommate tried to persuade their other roommates to eat horse meat. She has written many poems. I wonder if she ever wrote one about that... I will have to ask her. You're right. The poem of mine in question is called SAINT PATRICK'S DAY. I'm honored that you have 'dedicated' this poem to me. Thanks.
