There's a stairway to heaven and
Right now Iam located
Somewhere on the earth's floor
Each day I can
Take tiny steps
Until one day
I'll see earth no more, Yet
At the presence moment
Iam still learning exactly
Who Iam, while
Seeking the Lord's plan
Looking for his face, requesting
That he continues to reveal my purpose
Expecting more than just his hands
There are trials in life
Which help to take
Us a little
Higher,
I speak as witness
That decided. Awhile ago
Not to be claimed
By Hell's fire
Even thou, one day
I'll climb each step
Then knock on the door
But until that time
You shall find me
somewhere
On earth, the lobby
Escaping death's door
