Spring Slips Its Chains Poem by Michael Pruchnicki

Spring Slips Its Chains

Winter's chains melt
and spring surges
sunlight and breezes
release energy pent
in plant and animal
sap and blood run
free as skittering
squirrels and birds
twittering set the scene-

Spring has been reborn
yet again!

Interesting structure Michael, especially when read out aloud. Cheers Anita

And this slip results in pleasurable alternation. Pictographic lines laced with beauty and coherence….
