Spring Bird Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Spring Bird

Spring Bird

The spring bird sent a message
Of prettiness and warmth of spring.
It sang of gregarious things
Like the whole spring choir.

All the birds in flight and on branches
Sang and did their own special dances.
They sang special songs of their own
And then flew away with soaring wings.

The messages were loud and clear.
They appeared in songs so dear.
Spring had sprung so naturally
And spring sprang so merrily.
