no....surreal...all de-folk-cussed....
like a minor plague of locusts....
seeming 'insight'......(must be kidding)
vein-glory-ossity......forbidding
light to enter.....pierce the darkness....
(dancing on the brink of snarkness)
merry, merry....not this chase.....
no-one ever wins the race
to nowhere....
.....where no love's in place
and
fear masks every smiling face....
jab'n'grab'n'take a poke......
won't someone....PLEASE....
laugh....crack a joke......? ? ! !
'grim' realities face us all....
ev'ry creature, great and small...
never-ending dues to pay.....
each, another's trembling prey.....
hackles raised, claws are bared...
running, bloodied.....running, scared.....
(senses clouded......hiding, shrouded....)
a sadly bitter waste of time....
there're songs to sing
and trees to climb....
treasures to unearth....
and wonder.....
beauty, gifts.....un-torn asunder......
we're here, some say, for just a minnit....
might as well put some lovin' innit........! !

And D., with the way you write...it brings out the best in all of us, at times...your unique and adorable way of getting some important issues out there, only tells me, what a creative genius you really are. Life lasts but a second, and it is gone...Too short for all the suffering, all the hate...Before we all know it, it will be way too late!
