Spirituality Poem by Nichole Kaci McKnight

Spirituality

Ethereal melodies are known as the heavens from up above.
It’s God who gave us Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and his love.
All of us wish to feel God’s love and his warm, loving embrace.
God, many of us wonder what you’d look like if you had a face.
God's grace is manifested to al those who choose to believe.
Please help me, Dear God, to have the strength just to grieve.
I end my ode about God with one last thought;
I hope and pray that I don’t sound too overwrought.

Note: This poem is dedicated to my deceased sister, Tchinina. May God rest her soul.
