Spiritual Self Poem by Eve Morgan

Spiritual Self

Spiritual self has no color or race.
It is deeper, with a stronger base,
Than outward mortals in a photograph.
Spiritual mind can inwardly telegraph,
Helpful thoughts to others in stress.
Spirit reaches beyond hopelessness. Spiritual love and a desire for peace,
Changes the world, without cease.
From heart and soul, comes alchemy
To lift one another above tyranny.
Unleashed, spiritual self can unfold,
To join others in harmony of pure gold. The line "to thine own self be true,"
Can be carried forth, now overdue.
Transmutation is the result of this,
Bringing self a path from an abyss.
Human kind was made from Mastership.
Spiritual self comprehends partnership.
