Speed Of Evolution

Rating: 4.0

Freedom sped it up
to speeds we couldn't find.
Part of us evolved so fast
the rest just dragged behind.

That part wondered
was what was dragging worth it;
reasoned not; cut it off;
left it to evolution;

encompassed; expanded;
calculated the speed it went;
left the Theory of Evolution
for the Law of Development.
