Spectacles Poem by Greg Davidson

Spectacles

Through what spectacles can we peer,
The world, to all the better see.
How may we see black from white,
Know wrong from right?
Or is it through the everyday,
Like watching children play,
That we can understand the things that may,
Or may not be.
Is this how we may better see?
